WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL

Florida Air Academy is Florida’s largest boarding school and is home to one of the country’s premier student leadership programs. Day and boarding students in grades 6-12 are challenged by a top college preparatory academic program enhanced by co-curricular opportunities, including performing and fine arts, championship athletics, flight training, scuba, martial arts, surfing, skateboarding and equestrian training.

Florida Air Academy prepares boys and girls for life in the four-year universities throughout the United States. Our excellent program for English as a Second Language (ESL) enables foreign students to learn to speak, read and write standard English quickly and proficiently. This program is available both during the regular academic year (August through May), and the summer program. The College Prep curriculum features Advanced Placement (AP) courses and honors classes in high school.

Each student is assigned a faculty advisor. International students receive special attention from admissions staff to ensure that they adjust easily and quickly. A supportive, family-oriented staff provides supervision and guidance along with 24-hour campus medical services. All students wear uniforms, conduct themselves with dignity and decorum, and observe an honor code, which states that “A cadet will not lie, cheat, or steal.”

There are many campus organizations, clubs, sports, social and cultural trips, as well as many campus events throughout the year. Shuttle transportation throughout Florida is available for week-end activities. Airport shuttle service is also available to the Orlando International Airport, which is 55 minutes from campus, and the Melbourne International Airport, which is only 5 minutes from campus. Florida Air Academy is also conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and 30 minutes south of Cape Canaveral.
